We really enjoyed our takeout from here. The restaurant looks beautiful inside but with two little kids we keep our takeout game strong.

The sushi was all delicious, I will say the fire crunch poke bowl was bland. It needs a sweet or acidic element added. I added some fixins at home otherwise it would've been a flop. The gen tso chicken was also no throw away for the no sushi eaters.

We will be back to try the Thai food!

Used to love this place, as there are really not to many decent Asian cuisine spots in Winston Salem. However, the last couple of times I noted the quantity and quality of the food has decreased.  The  impression I get is this place is testing on its past laurels, and have started cutting corners to make more profit.

And if you order carry out, you'd better check the order before you leave to make sure it's a full portion.

The sushi is still a good bet, but that's about it.

Let's start with the positive. Charming hostess that was friendly and warm. She gave my kids a coloring sheet and crayons even though they're a bit too old for it. Sweet, still! The decor is beautiful and clean. Mady's kids low mein was a cheap 5.95 but the dish was generous, tasty, and filling. Some veggies woulda been nice. That's it folks.

General Tso's chicken wasn't shabby either. Good flavor, generous portions even though it was a lunch portion. Not too spicy.

Hub's poke was a bit of a joke. It stated on her menu it's a spring mix. It was NOT! It was a watery mess of lettuce. There was tuna, fake crab meat, sesame, avocado and a hint of wasabi. It was bland and lacked flavor. He opted not to have the crunch wonton shells to make it healthier but still, the flavor was nonexistent.

Last but not least is the Hong Kong Sea bass. Let me say I've had Sea bass quite often and this was the worst experience. It was so tiny, it was about the size of an average chicken egg. The rest of the dish consisted of broccoli, spinach and a ton of soy sauce. Bits and pieces of onion and ginger garnished the plate. I took my rice and smashed it at the bottom of the plate to absorb the awfully salty soy sauce to make my 30$ dish palatable. It angers me that previous pictures of this from other helpers here show a much heartier portion of sea bass. Why is mine a child size?!

What's worse is that we were given the most monotone and bland waiter in North Carolina. Not one fleck of kindness or any feeling really in his voice.

Try the Thai place across the way instead.

    -Still hungry

Working in Winston-Salem stopped with a coworker for lunch. Decorated nicely, clean, staff just ok, hostess was awkward to interact with. Waiter kept forgetting to bring things like lemon for my tea, soy sauce for my sushi, dish for dipping in, & chop sticks. My coworker didn't care much for his meal. Said the same as me, it was just ok. Pricing average.

I've heard about people rave about this restaurant and finally a co-worker and I went. I was blown away with the amazing menu selection and the food was outstanding and reasonably priced.
I have since been back three times and haven't been disappointed.
Staff are always more than friendly and keep the drinks filled.
The atmosphere is nice and is very clean. This place is a gem in the WS community. I'm looking forward to the many more meals I have here.
    Definitely recommend!
